Senior Civil Project Engineer

Due to a large volume of projects, my client is currently looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in an environmental consultancy in Manchester. The successful candidate would be working in a close knit team with all the different disciplines working together to find solutions. There would be the opportunity to manage and have control over large projects such as earthworks design, drainage, highways designs and big landmark developments so would be ideal for someone who is looking for more responsibilities and the opportunity to learn new skills.

Some of the key responsibilities:
* Working on large projects from start to finish ,
* Liaising with clients,
* Directing and mentoring junior staff,
* Approvals and getting involved in the design process.

This role is really well suited for someone who would like to gain more experience and therefore progress in their career.

The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years' experience in civil engineering, have experience working on UK soil and working towards a chartership is desired but not necessary.
