Are you interested in providing a comprehensive support model to our postgraduate students? Have you got the flair to encourage and lead a successful team? Can you confidently provide support and guidance through change?
The Head of Doctoral College Operations will co-ordinate the key functions which support postgraduate researchers pre-arrival and during their time at Leeds. You will work closely with the Dean of the Doctoral College and a wide range of academic and professional service colleagues and will be responsible for delivering and managing a high-performing and comprehensive service to research students, academic staff and other stakeholders. You will directly manage the work of the SES faculty graduate schools, the PGR Admissions team and the scholarship application and awards process. You will establish good working relationships with other key staff within faculties and services who contribute towards the postgraduate researcher experience.
You will share the leadership of the SES Doctoral College team with the Head of Doctoral Programmes, and you will work collaboratively to drive the sharing of good practice and the harmonisation of policies, procedures and practice in the support and development of postgraduate research students.
