The Role

The successful appointees are those looking to begin an academic career, either through a PhD scholarship and an Academic level role; or if you already have a PhD, commence and/or continue an academic career with access to ongoing support. We are seeking to recruit academic positions at Level B, C, D and E. There are multiple positions across the following areas of Business including; finance, management, business information systems, tourism, marketing, accounting, strategy and entrepreneurship.

The Person

The Business School is seeking applicants whose career aspirations match the following criteria:

• Motivation to lead an engaging education experience for our students and executive education clients;
• Desire to publish research; and
• Desire to engage with industry and contribute to the wider University community.

Please note, this is an identified position as it is an occupation requirement that the occupant must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent in accordance with Section 105 of the Queensland Anti-Discrimination Act 1991.

These are full-time positions; however flexible working arrangements or fractional positions may be negotiated.

Remuneration

The successful applicants will be appointed to a level commensurate with their experience/expertise, and their teaching and research track record.
