Technical Data Lead

The University of Queensland (UQ) is about to significantly invest in a best practice digital Customer Experience transformation program. The aim of the program is to enhance the University's position, relationships and reputation with its various stakeholder groups through high quality marketing and communication strategies. UQ is looking to recruit a number of newly created key roles to develop our bench-strength in customer experience, digital marketing and program delivery.

The CX Program is a joint partnership with Information Technology Services (ITS) and Office of Marketing and Communication (OMC) and aims to deliver a host of benefits to UQ through the provision of strategy, performance measures, technology platforms, policies and processes to enable an enterprise wide, coordinated personalised engagement experience for all of UQ's key stakeholder groups.

The role

Reporting to the CX Program Manager (CRM), This role will have significant stakeholder engagement, program budget management and be required to deliver under demanding timescales. On a daily basis you will:

• Liaising with business stakeholders and system subject matter experts to understand current and future business processes, system behaviours and data models
• Producing technical specifications for applications, interfaces and API data mappings
• Producing and executing test plans including managing test data and acceptance criteria
• Troubleshooting, investigating, triaging defects across multiple layers of a system stack
• Acting as a technical project manager or scrum master for the execution of technical implementation projects
• Working with specification, functional and integration testing, UI design, and ticket management tools

The person

Distinguished from your peers by your well-developed interpersonal and communication skills you will also have:

• Qualifications and training equivalent to an undergraduate degree with extensive relevant experience producing technical solutions for applications, interfaces, and APIs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people to achieve outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and adopt new processes and technologies to deliver excellent service and quality outcomes.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, continuing appointment at HEW Level 9. The total remuneration package, including employer superannuation contributions of up to 17%, will be in the range of $113,095.08 - $119,678.38 p.a.
