The Faculty of Business, Economics and Law (BEL) incorporates three schools - UQ Business School, the School of Economics and the TC Beirne School of Law - and two research centres - the Australian Institute for Business and Economics (AIBE) and the Centre for the Business and Economics of Health (CBEH).

The Role

In the position of Student Experience Officer, you will contribute to the development and administration of policy and procedures in relation to student academic matters. Duties will include, but are not limited to, processing documentation and providing advice to students with regards to their admission, progression, graduation and other student administration matters. You will also assess academic records for students and provide advice to the Associate Dean (Academic).

The Person

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong orientation to the provision of high level customer service, and the ability to establish good working relations at all levels and liaise effectively with both students and staff. You will have an undergraduate degree in a relevant area or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. A sound knowledge of the University's policies and procedures, including student database systems, and previous customer service and student administration experience in a University or tertiary education setting would be advantageous.

Remuneration

This is a part-time (0.6 FTE), continuing appointment at HEW Level 5. The remuneration package will be in the range $40,564 - $45,303 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $47,459 to $53,004 p.a.).
