Associate Professor

Institute of Physics at the University of Szczecin, Poland invites applications for an Assistant Professor Position to strengthen existing potential of research in observational cosmology being applied to test alternative gravity theories.

Description

A successful candidate should have a habilitation degree in physics. The candidates are expected to have good experience in observational cosmology as well as in fundamental cosmology (cosmology based on fundamental interactions in physics). A distinguished track of scientific career is welcomed (publications in high impact factor journals, good citations scores, invited lectures, conference organisation etc.). The candidate should also have a track of successful grant applications. Applicants are asked to submit the following documents:
  • Application to President of University for employment.
  • CV with a photo.
  • Personal questionnaire.
  • A copy of a document confirming obtaining a postdoctoral degree.
  • Information about scientific and educational achievements (list of publications, description of research interests and teaching experience).
  • A statement that the University of Szczecin will be the primary place of work in case of winning the competition.
  • Other documents that may significantly affect the assessment of the candidate.
