Job description

The Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw, upon the consent of the Rector of the University of Warsaw, announces the competition for the position of assistant professor (within research- didactic group) in the Institute of International Law - Department of International Public Law full-time position (for an indefinite period)

Requirements

The candidate shall meet the following conditions:
  • have the academic degree of a habilitated doctor in legal science, discipline: law;
  • have extensive didactic experience at university faculty of law in holding classes on international public law in Polish and in English;
  • have academic accomplishments in the area of international public law documented by publications (including publications in English), specifically including the area of the law of treaties and the law of the sea;
  • have experience in the editing of scientific publications and organizing of scientific conferences on international public law;
  • have experience in the academic supervision of young researchers as a promoter or an auxiliary promoter of doctoral thesis in legal science and has acted as a promoter and reviewer of masters degree theses or bachelor degree theses in the field of international public law.
