Help Support LAC and Care Leavers
A London based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Placement Officer to help support the authorities Looked After Children and Care Leavers

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to take a post which combines children's services with commissioning. The post holder will be working with external providers to secure placements for the Local Authorities Looked After Children and Care Leavers. You will be using your proven negotiation skills to ensure placements are cost effective and secured in a good time
You will be supported by the Team Manager as well as the wider team, which is small and consists of 3 officers. You will also be supported by the wider Corporate Parenting service.
To be considered for this post you should be a qualified Social Worker and have worked in a similar team
