Job description

A postdoctoral research position in the area of evolutionary computation within the Optimisation and Logistics group

This role is available for one year in the first instance, however, there is a possibility of extension, depending on funding and performance.

To be successful you will need:
  • PhD in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Strong background in evolutionary computation, especially in the area of diversity optimization and problems with dynamic constraints.
  • Strong background in evolutionary computation for algorithm selection.
  • Strong programming skills and excellent skills developing software packages for optimisation problems.
  • Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively within a team.
