URGENT - Contract Medical Device Packaging expert - 8 months - ASAP start - Switzerland
We're looking for a Senior Engineer to provide packaging engineering support to technical design and standards for packaging equipment, secondary/ tertiary packaging technical transfer and new product launch projects for a number of packaging and external contracting sites.
This includes but is not limited to secondary/ tertiary packaging design, material qualification, transport qualification including cold chain, qualification of packaging manufacturing equipment and design transfer activities for combination products, vials and solid dosage forms.
This position will also be in a close collaboration with other functional areas (Technical Operations Device CoE, Packaging Operations, Planning, New Product Launch Team, Supply Chain Development Leads, Technical Launch Integrators, site Packaging Engineers, packaging equipment and packaging materials vendors, among others).
The products are combinational devices - we're looking for someone with 3 years of packaging engineering and/or design experience including Secondary/ Tertiary Material packaging experience - Primary packaging material is a plus, as is package equipment qualification/validation knowledge.
Language wise written and spoken English ie essential while German is a bonus
The ideal is a (virtually) immediate start, with the initial length of the contract being until the end of the year.
