Manage registration of biocontrol products in strategic countries


I'm currently working with an up and coming Agrochemical/Crop Protection Company who are expanding extensively across Europe. Part of this expansion has not only been the acquisition of talented professionals form a number of key industry players, but additional acquisitions of smaller companies to give them access to new technologies and enhance their product portfolio.

As a result, they are now searching for a Regulatory and Registrations Manager to join their European Regulatory and Registrations team to take over the BioPesticides Portfolio!

This is an exciting opportunity to join a company within a growth phase where you will become a key player within the expansion of the business through the registration of BioPesticide products, so not only will be helping to advance business interests, you will be making strong contribution to the future of more environmentally friendly farming.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing company's knowledge on biopesticide registration and its registration
  • Definition of the company's registration strategy in line with the clients strategic plan and in coordination with the parent company PSRA Director
  • Set and control of the biopesticide dossier Budget and contract the studies to build the product dossiers
  • Authorities point of contact, including answering to the EU and country official evaluators
  • Management of external consultants
  • Follow and measure the impact of the National and European legislation and of the competency regulatory activity in EU
  • Representing the client in the regulatory teams in the industry association
  • The client's regulatory advocacy contact with external stakeholders
  • Issue management
  • Design and set the efficacy trials for registration
  • Planning and implementation of the regulatory and advocate activities
  • Gives the regulatory input and support to the client's business teams
  • Update the registration databases
  • Coordinate and manage registration of biocontrol products in strategic countries defined by the client's out of Europe.

Key Requirements:

  • An Educational background within in Agronomy, Biology or similar
  • Extensive knowledge within EU Regulatory Framework 1107/2009
  • Hands on experience within the registrations of BioPesticides
  • Strong project management experience
  • Ability to coordinate and monitor GEP trials
  • Strong communication skills
  • A professional proficiency in English
