This is a great opportunity for an experienced Process Safety professional to widen their knowledge and remit.
You will be responsible for the management of process safety related to Sector capital projects along with overall accountability for the following: compliance with Safety Standards, legislation and regulations across Global Projects working closely with the wider project engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
Interface with other Sectors and Group EHS to progress the Group EHS process safety agenda.
Overall accountability for the inherently safe design of new plant and equipment to prevent process safety incidents.
Develop and drive process safety excellence for all Sector projects globally.
Build an enhanced awareness and culture of process safety through the Engineering teams.
Are you the ideal candidate?
An experienced Engineering Professional with a thorough understanding of process safety.
Hold a degree or equivalent Chemical Engineering qualification as well as holding a relevant qualification such as NEBOSH.
Experience leading and managing hazard studies to completion along with experience leading process safety in a complex and high hazard industry.
Proven experience setting and achieving the highest process safety standards of performance.
A passion for process safety you will have excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate change with business stakeholders.
