International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) at Xi'an Jiaotong Liverpool University invites applications for positions of Professor in Economics. Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) is a unique collaborative institution, the first and currently the only university in China to offer both UK (University of Liverpool) and Chinese (Ministry of Education) accredited undergraduate degrees. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Applicants should possess an excellent research portfolio, published in top ranking international journals. In addition, the candidates must hold excellent reputation and impact in their respective fields of research. A proven track record of successful application for national and international grants is also an essential requirement for the position. Ability and experience in transforming academic research into practical knowledge is also welcome.
2. Applicants should be excellent educators with extensive experience teaching and designing courses as well as supervising student dissertation at all levels - including undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and executive courses. Experience teaching and managing diverse cohorts is also required.
3. Applicants must have held leadership roles as they will be expected to contribute to the continuous development of the School.

The salary for this position is in line with international standards. In addition, members of academic staff are entitled to accommodation and travel allowances, medical insurance, and relocation expenses. Overseas staff may receive a tax holiday of up to three years, depending on nationality and personal circumstances.
