A Local Authority based in the South East is seeking an experienced Manager to help lead their Fostering team. This is a diverse post which will also make you the Responsible Person and the Foster Panel Adviser.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fostering manager who is looking to further develop their skills and take on the additional responsibilities of being the Foster Panel Adviser and Responsible Person. This diversity within the role offers you the opportunity to develop your experience further, providing you with the skills and experience needed to further progress to senior manager positions.

You will be managing a well established team all of whom are employed on a permanent basis and are able to work autonomously effectively freeing you up to focus on your own duties. You will also have the full support of an Assistant Team Manager who will be able to support in the day to day management of the team.

To be considered for this post you should have extensive experience as a Manager within a statutory Fostering team. Furthermore the local authority is keen to hear from candidates who are creative and are able to bring their own ideas to the table in order to develop practice
