The Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Senior Research Assistant, Department of Anaesthesiology
Responsibilities
You will be responsible to:
- Ensure smooth and efficient day to day operation of research related activities
- liason with anaesthesia, surgery and CTU team for trial related activities
- identify eligible participants and administer informed consent
- responsible for data collection, data entry and query resolution
- identifying and ordering consumables as required for research project
- manage study medications and specimens are per study protocol
- management and compilation of research data
- collaborate with research coordinator and principal investigator for research project
- excute other assignments as delegated from time to time
Requirements
You should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Medicine (MBBS) or Dentistry (BDS) or Nursing (BScN)
- Preferably one year research experience but not mandatory
- Good clinical practices certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of clinical research
- Good communication, interpersonal and writing skills
- Proficiency in computers especially MS Office
- Excellent organizational capabilities and ability to handle diverse set of tasks
