Do you have general office and administrative experience in addition to exceptional organisational skills? Do you want to join a team supporting the management and delivery of Leeds Sponsored Clinical Trials? Are you looking to develop your Good Clinical Practice knowledge within a regulatory environment?

As a Quality Assurance Clinical Trials Assistant, you will provide general clerical support to the Faculty of Medicine and Health/Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust QA Clinical Trials Sponsor Office. On a daily basis you will liaise with Clinical Academic and Academic staff across the Faculty to ensure that all aspects of the QA processes are carried out efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in a career at the University of Leeds within the clinical trials arena.

You will be based at the Quality Assurance Joint Sponsor Office within the Research and Innovation Centre (RIC) at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust (LTHT), which provides a designated quality assurance function working across the University Faculty of Medicine and Health Research Office and the LTHT Department of Research and Innovation.

To be successful in this role you will have previous clerical experience within a busy office environment, effective organisational skills, an ability to work to tight deadlines and a proven ability to multi task and prioritise your own workload. Ideally, you will have a working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice standards but training will be given.
