Job Details
My client, a international global automotive company with over 3,000 employees and a strong name in the market, is now looking for a experienced Senior Project Technical Purchaser to join their expanding Supply Chain Team. This is a brand new position within the business due to the continuous growth of the company. This position is part of the specialist team who will be working closely with the Head of Procurement to develop the department.
My client offer a great environment to work in, with a down to earth atmosphere freedom to implement new changes. This is great for someone who likes to have a hands on approach in the company they work in, with the chance to make quick decisions and drive processes with passion. You will mainly be responsible for the plastic category, however this is not limited and you will also be involved in other business sectors that they operate in.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing the procurement department
- Strategic development and supplier management
- Sourcing for new suppliers
- Process Improvement
To be successful candidate must have:
- 3+ years Procurement experience
- Experience working in the Automotive sector
- Technical background - i.e engineering degree or similar
- Fluent in German & English
