Senior Research Associate in Statistics and Experimental Design

An exciting opportunity is available to join the team as a statistician working in experimental design for fundamental biology research and pre-clinical studies at the University of Bristol.  The post holder will work with colleagues to provide expert advice on statistical methods for a diverse range of experimental approaches.  This will include contributing expert input in statistical methods, including sample size estimates, methods to avoid bias and appropriate statistical analyses.

Applicants should have a solid background in statistical methods and a PhD or equivalent, with a strong element of statistics. They should have knowledge and experience of biomedical science studies and proven experience with statistical packages as well as evidence of contribution to the development and writing of grant applications.
