Job Details
Candidates should have a PhD in an appropriate research area, a strong publication record, and the enthusiasm and drive to carry out research and teaching, in an exciting, highly professional, multidisciplinary environment.
The post will be held in the Electronics and Computer Science (ECS) at the University of Southampton. Ranked in the top one per cent of universities globally and among the UK’s top 20 for research, the University of Southampton has an international reputation for its research, teaching and enterprise activities.
In the 2014 Research Excellence Framework, ECS was first in the UK for the volume and quality of research in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. We have been 1st or 2nd in the Guardian U.K. league tables for Electronic and Electrical Engineering for the past 5 years (2015-2019)
