It is often the case that after you have found your entry-level position and have found your feet within medical writing, your thoughts will shift to what life might be like in other related companies. This is natural and can only help you in the long-run by giving you further experience that will assist you for the future. This company is a great place in which to do this, having recently expanded into new territories whilst continuing to operate in a range of areas that will give you valuable experience.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work in a range of therapeutic areas, writing various kinds of materials for high-profile pharmaceutical clients, boosting your experience and even introducing you to client-side activities where appropriate. This company takes the view that where possible it is of benefit to all parties to have writers who are comfortable liaising with clients and KOLs, meaning that you can have increased variety in your job role and develop key skills that writing roles might otherwise leave untouched.

The company itself is a large integrated agency operating within medical communications and related areas. This role is based out of a site dealing purely in medical education, so whilst you will specialise within medical communications, the scope of the company will mean that an internal move into areas such as PR and advertising would be possible further down the line. Additionally this company has recently expanded into America, meaning improved client relationships with clients in that territory and opportunities to travel.

In order to be considered for this opportunity it will be necessary for you to have experience working as a medical writer within a medical communications agency. You will have a strong academic background with PhD preferred. Prior experience as a medical writer is a necessity.
