Job Purpose
To assist in research on the Liveable Cities Programme (by carrying out data collection and analysis) to create knowledge through providing research support. The Liveable Cities Research Programme seeks to transform the engineering of cities to deliver societal and planetary wellbeing within the context of low-carbon living and resource security.
Person Specification
- Degree in relevant subject area (e.g. Geography, Environmental Science, Biology)
- Knowledge and practical understanding of GIS and digital data capture and advanced statistical techniques (using R)
- Understanding of the application of ethnographic methodologies
- Experience of multi-disciplinary working in large research teams
- Ability to analyse information and communicate effectively
- Ability to access and organise resources successfully
