Job  Scope/Summary
This position will also advise as a technical expert on Empower modifications including transition to Empower 3.  The role is highly integrated into the change control and document life cycle processes that govern Empower and other lab applications.  This role will participate in the creation and modification of documentation as it relates to the supported applications. The Empower Support Analyst is responsible for the installation, configuration and support.  Candidate must be an outgoing individual and who is experience in various lab environments. This role will also function as the lead technical advisor on Waters Empower related events.  This will include basic administration of users to advanced custom field creation. 
  • Administration and Support of the Empower environment
  • Manage the installation and configuration of  Empower 3 LAC/e computers in client laboratory space
  • Manage and resolve tier 3 & 4 Empower issues
  • Manage On-boarding, retirement and relocation of equipment
  • Proactively monitor the environment
  • Manage the installation and configuration of  Empower 3 LAC/e computers in client laboratory space
  • Follow GmP and GxP best practices
  • Create and edit validated documents related to the Empower 3 environment
  • Professionalism, excellent listening skills, superior analytical skills, great verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage one’s time with minimal supervision to achieve objectives
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or  a minimum of 4-8 years’ of relevant professional experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in lab environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years Waters – Empower support
  • Experience working in regulated environments.
  • Understanding of lab best practices, instruments and software
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be customer service orientated and believe in teamwork, collaboration, adaptability and Initiative.
  • Problem solving skills to resolve issues
  • Ability to multitask and support various groups of users
  • Project Management, organizations and prioritizing skills
