Strategic Buyer - Italian Switzerland

My Client a worldwide medical device company is searching to add a Strategic Buyer to be focused on managing the procurement process. This position is a great chance to work within a growing organisation allowing you to expand your skill set and skills.

Within the role you would be repsonsible for managing the procurement process icluding source selection / management, agreement on prices and conditions, creation and setting into the system. You will also be required to develop sourcing strategies, lead negotiations and implement sourcing initiatives for the assigned commodity. Responsibilities will also include commiting and managing annual spend and achieve cost reduction goals using RFx process, should cost analysis, contracts, suppliers portfolio rationalization e-auctions.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3 - 5 year experience within procurement
• Will come from a technical background
• Will understand pricing and materials SPEC
