Job Details
The School of Earth Sciences at the University of Bristol seeks a Research Fellow/Project Facilitator to collaborate with an interdisciplinary research group to test the predictive capability of new understandings of porphyry copper deposits (PCDs). They will help refine models and develop their potential as exploration tools, with a focus on integrating new research and existing observations into the mineral systems approach of exploration.
The appointee will bring industry perspective and knowledge to the research outcomes of the group, integrate research ideas with exploration tools, and facilitate effective knowledge transfer between academic and industry partners. They will also develop a strand of their own fundamental and original research in some aspect of PCDs.
The position is fully funded for 3 years, including relevant research and travel costs.
