A fantastic opportunity with an AgroChemicals Manufacturing company who are undergoing a phase of significant growth at the moment and are in the process of developing a new laboratory and manufacturing facility in the Stuttgart area to ensure their continued development in the market over the next 10 years.

The company you will be working for manufacture specialty chemicals for use in AgroChemicals crop protection (insecticides, herbicides, fungicides and pesticides) and they operate on a global basis, covering the whole of North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Central Africa, India and Asia, allowing them to them to cover all geographical markets and create a lot of revenue streams.

Your role with the company will be to assist in the development of the product range, helping with custom product requests, working on plant-scale up and working as part of project teams for 3-5 year technology development projects, ensuring you have a healthy level of diversity whilst allowing you to concentrate in one niche area.

Responsibilites:

• Product Development including testing and formulating AgroChemicals
• Pilot-plant scale up to test feasability of product lines
• Collaboration with other Chemist on R&D projects and regular input to meetings
• Assisting the Sales force and Marketing with technical product specifications and training
• Sourcing of raw materials for the laboratory

• Develop additives and specialty chemicals for AgroChemicals Products
• Currently developing their manufacturing and development with new facilities across Europe

Requirements:

• 3 years experience in development and formulation of AgroChemicals
• Good Knowledge of Pesticides, Herbicides and Fungicides
• Degree background in Chemistry
• Fluent English essential
