Your assignments
The successful candidate will generate chimeric mice by ES cell aggregation and directly participate in research projects involving genetic analysis of mouse embryonic development in close interaction with the postdoctoral fellows and PhD students in the group. In addition, she/he will spend about 10-15% of their work time with lab management/support duties.
Your profile
The successful applicant must have trained either as a technician or hold a MSc in the Life Sciences (e.g. Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or similar). In addition, the applicant must have one to several years of practical experience in molecular biology and in using mice for research. FELASA or Swiss LTK-1certification for animal research and/or expertise in generating mice from CRISPR genome-edited mESCs using the aggregation chimera technique are additional assets for this position.
