London South Bank University (LSBU) is a leading university for professional and technical education and is playing an important role in the new Higher and Degree Apprenticeships. LSBU has particular strengths in Health, Engineering and the Built Environment. The University is a key institution in its community; it has a very diverse student body, works closely with its local borough councils and makes a strong offer to local business. LSBU’s Vice Chancellor is the Chair of MillionPlus and members of the University leadership hold significant roles in higher education and in London.

The University has been growing its public affairs activities and now seeks a Policy and Information Manager to support this programme.

The primary responsibilities are assisting in the development of University policy; preparing briefings, consultation submissions and external statements; and preparing information and content about the University which promotes its work and views.

A good understanding of current UK political affairs and excellent analytical and communication, particularly writing, skills are key requirements for this role.
