Situated on the German/Dutch border in the Venlo area, our client are currently looking for a Quality Control Manager to join their young and highly motivated 6 person Quality Control team, consisting of Masters and Bachelors graduates who perform analytical product testing using HPLC and UPLC methods for the company's large agro-chemical product portfolio.
As Quality Control Manager you'll be providing your team with guidance, managing their work and time schedules and using your knowledge to provide hands-on training (where required), ensuring they remain, happy, motivated and focused in the laboratory. As a result of company growth the business will be launching new product lines in the next 1-2 years so they will need to purchase new analytical equipment. Asa result you will also be responsible for managing a project to assess which analytical methods and equipment fit for the new products, so you will be conducting literature studies, market analysis and costing analysis, meaning you'll have an input into the long-term future of the company.
The company you will be joining develop chemical products for animals which includes a line of nutrition, disinfectant and medicinal product groups. They are still growing rapidly and have posted 10% revenue growth figures year-on-year for the last 8 years, so it's a business which will be able to offer development and progression opportunities in the mid to long term.
Requirements:
- Masters or Bachelors Degree in Chemistry
- 3 years industry experience working with HPLC or UPLC analytical methods
- Proven experience managing teams of at least 3 people
- Fluent Dutch essential
