NonStop Recruitment is actively searching for an experience QC Manager to join one of our rapidly growing clients in the Oxfordshire area. For this role you will take on diverse responsibilities such as managing a multi-skilled team to ensure continued development of all staff is in consistent progress. Therefore this an ideal position for a candidate who is looking to instantly have an impact into the working environment they will be working in as you will constantly be coaching people from the start.

Some of your daily procedures will be reporting to the Radiochemistry Core Leader, you will help to set up the facility's QC systems, both for the routine analysis of GMP grade PET radiotracers and novel radiotracers for clinical studies.

Due to our client's fast growth and progression, there will be the chance to step up internally very quickly. This is very important for QC Managers who are looking for their next step to develop within their career.

Your key requirements:

  • The candidate will: have a BSc/MSc, plus relevant experience, or a PhD in chemistry, pharmacy or related scientific discipline
  • Excellent analytical instrumentation skills (GC, HPLC, TLC, LC-MS) including method development and validation are essential, with the ability to adhere to statutory health and safety and radiation safety guidelines pertaining to a radiochemistry laboratory
  • Previous experience with GMP grade PET radiotracers quality control would be advantageous.
