Job Details
A part-time Research Support Assistant is required to join a research team investigating the role of the growth control protein and transcription factor PRH/HHEX in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma. This 18 month post is funded by the MRC and it is the result of collaboration between the Gaston and Oltean laboratories at the University of Bristol and the Jayaraman and Afford laboratories at the University of Birmingham. The post holder will be based in the School of Biochemistry at the University of Bristol. Supervision will be provided by Dr Gaston and Dr Oltean but autonomy and independent thinking will be strongly encouraged. Experience with tumour models is highly desirable.
