An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to provide professional and expert leadership and advice to managers at all levels on every aspect of HR Management and contribute to the development of corporate HR policy in order to achieve the aims of the HR strategy and Faculty/Division/University plan. This appointment is within the Faculty of Health Sciences and is to cover for maternity leave as part of a job share working Monday- Wednesday.

It is important that the HR Manager is able to understand the critical and priority business issues in the area they support in order to provide the appropriate challenge and support, and that they work as a member of the Faculty Senior Management team accordingly. This adds complexity to the role and a requirement for a high level of business partnership working to develop far reaching positive relationships as well as a highly developed understanding of broader University business areas and the wider higher education context. Experience of working within the NHS would be a distinct advantage in this role.

You will be expected to take professional ownership and leadership of all HR processes and their delivery in working closely with key managers.
