Job Details
To assist in the design, development, integration and deployment of software solutions
To build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design based on the University's needs and data management objectives
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- A B.Tech qualification in Information Technology or equivalent
- At least two (2) years experience working within a Web, Database or Mobile development environment
- Hands on experience in designing interactive applications with programming languages like PHP or Java
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, Web Services/APis and SQL (e.g. MySQL, MSSQL or Oracle)
- Working knowledge of an OpenSource CMS framework (e.g. Joomla, Wordpress or Drupal)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript and CSS)
- Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming and test-driven development
- Ability to document requirements and specifications
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
