Kate Edger Educational Charitable Trust

The Kate Edger Educational Charitable Trust (KEECT) wishes to appoint a highly organised individual to the position of Awards Co-ordinator. KEECT is a Charitable Trust whose main purpose is to help women achieve their educational goals through the provision of scholarships, financial and other assistance. The KEECT gives over 100 awards to women each year. The awards range from $300 Expenses Awards through to $16,000 Post-Doctoral Research awards to enable women to further their tertiary education.

The Awards Co-ordinator will work closely with the Chair of the Awards Committee, the Awards Sub-Committee, the Marketing Co-ordinator and the Trust Manager. As an integral part of this small team, the Awards Co-ordinator will be responsible for the coordination of all designated activities associated with the KEECT’s Awards Programme.

The role of the Awards Co-ordinator is to manage all applications for awards and will have a highly professional level of engagement with applicants. This is an exceptionally rewarding role and the successful applicant will have knowledge of the education sector (secondary and tertiary), as well as proven experience of working with awards. In addition, excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical and relationship development skills will be essential in this relationship-oriented business. A strong sense of collegiality and a proactive approach will help you succeed in this role.
