Supplier QA Manager - Swiss MedTech - global role

Supplier Quality Management - key team and project responsibilities - permanent role - Medical Device products

Our client is a leading manufacturer of innovative products for the Med Dev, biotech, pharma, semiconductor, aerospace, and industrial sectors. As part of a large scale project to grow their Supplier quality division across Europe, we are looking for a Supplier Quality Expert with a background in medical / mechanical engineering, ideally 5 years plus industry experience in Supplier Quality within the Medical Devices sector, and demonstrated experience in team leadership to take on a key management role at one of their Swiss sites.

This is a leadership role, working both hands on and strategic - all about ensuring external supply chain is compliant and effective from a quality, service and cost perspective. Driving continuous assessment of supplier quality, improvement of current processes, closure of non conformances and CAPAs, training to raise the quality culture, and fostering relationships with third parties, are all important daily tasks.

ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and GMP are all important, as is the need to communicate and negotiate in both German and English.
