Maternal & Perinatal Health Group 

The Liggins Institute is a world leading centre for research on maternal, fetal and child health; the impact of nutrition on health throughout life; epigenetic regulation of growth and development and evolutionary medicine.  Within the Liggins Institute, the LiFePATH Group brings together a multi-disciplinary team of researchers from the fields of obstetrics, midwifery, paediatrics and neonatology to improve the health of women and their babies. 

We require an Executive Assistant to provide all aspects of executive support to the Professor of Maternal and Perinatal Health and the Professor of Neonatology to ensure their research group is coordinated smoothly and efficiently.  Your duties will include diary management, Dictaphone typing, travel arrangements, organising meetings and presentation materials, scientific administrative support, research project management and literature searches.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a mid to senior level administration position, possess a professional manner, have efficient time management and organisation skills, advanced computer skills, and the enthusiasm to support this high performing team.  A tertiary qualification in science and scientific medical/project management experience would be an advantage.  Experience in a research environment would be an advantage.  This role is one year fixed term, full or part time roles will be considered.
