We are looking for highly experienced individuals to join our Board of Trustees and its committees, to work with our Senior Executive Team to support the delivery of our bold new strategic plan.  This is an exceptional opportunity to share your expertise and make a positive contribution to a globally renowned institution.

Essential criteria

As we enter into our next phase of development, we would like to hear from people with extensive experience of senior leadership in large complex organisations.  You will possess a real understanding of what visionary leadership and effective governance looks like, and be enthused and inspired by our mission.  With outstanding communication skills and a proven ability to drive organisational performance and quality, you will be able to demonstrate high standards of conduct, integrity and personal impact.

Desirable criteria

As we are recruiting to a variety of non-executive positions, we are seeking applications from all people who meet our essential criteria above.  That said, knowledge and experience in the following areas would be particularly desirable:

  • Audit and/or Finance
  • Education and/or Working with Young People.
