Job Details
The University of Queensland Health and Rehabilitation Clinics (Clinics) of the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences have a longstanding reputation for providing allied health services in its work-integrated learning environment. The Clinics offers Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Speech Pathology services to adult and paediatric populations. Our clinics incorporate holistic and interprofessional patient-centered care with well established administrative support.
Located on the University of Queensland's St Lucia campus, you will work in a stimulating environment with an international reputation for innovative approaches to teaching, clinical and research excellence.
The role
To provide exceptional reception and administration for the School's Health and Rehabilitation Clinics comprising Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, and Telerehabilitation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; customer service for prospective and current clients, scheduling client appointments and managing the waitlist, maintaining electronic and paper client records, processing payments, maintaining client accounts, ordering equipment and consumables, and undertaking general administrative tasks.
The person
We are looking for someone who enjoys customer service, is helpful and engaging with clients and colleagues, and works well in a team environment. Prior customer service experience in a health care setting is essential. The successful applicant will be experienced in the use of a computerised practice management system and the Microsoft Office suite of programs. As the first point of contact for the clinics you will have a professional, friendly and courteous manner with an aptitude for communicating with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds. A self-motivated individual who enjoys teamwork and providing exceptional customer service will succeed in this role.

Remuneration
This is a 3 year full-time, fixed term appointment at HEW Level 4. The remuneration package will be in the range $59,429 - $63,305 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $69,532- $74,067 p.a.).
