Fast-Moving Business Development in Animal Nutrition

I am working for a rapidly growing European firm, headquartered in Germany, which has grown to sixty staff in recent years. Family owned and run, the firm enjoys a flat management structure, with field staff reporting directly to the owner and CEO. In this environment, staff are encouraged to show what they can do, and are quickly recognised for their achievements.

The firm are looking to hire a Technical Sales Specialist, who will serve as a point of contact between Product Developers and the end users. The firm's feeds and nutrition products are carefully crafted to meet the needs of agricultural customers worldwide, so there is a highly advanced product range which you will be trained on. With the company's help you will become a specialist in the field, and an expert, who customers will turn need, to help them grow their businesses and care for their stock.

Based in Southern East Germany (Sachsen/Thüringen/Sachsen-Anhalt) you will spend most of your working time travelling to meet customers in person on farms and in animal clinics. For them, you will be a technical advisor on the products and their benefits, and a trusted partner for questions of animal nutrition. In this close-knit team you will develop your skills and expertise in the industry, and be in a position to advance quickly to Management and Director-level positions.

To excel in this role:

You will have worked previously in Animal Health or Nutrition products, whether feeds or closely related. You will have a strong understanding of the industry in Europe, and be ready to take control of the market from day one.

Ideally you will have an educational background which gives you an understanding of the products, for example in Veterinary Medicine Livestock Health, or Animal Health.

You will have proven sales and business development ability, ideally in this field.
