Job Details
The UK Student Recruitment Team is responsible for the coordination, planning and delivery of key recruitment and widening participation outreach initiatives at the University, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Such initiatives include the University Open Days, attendance at school and college events across the country as well as widening participation outreach set out in the University’s Access Agreement.
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and delivering a programme of digital events aimed prospective students worldwide. This will include liaising with key stakeholders within the Directorate and across the University, planning and scheduling virtual events, providing training to staff across the institution as well as reporting on impact.
The role will work closely with the Publications, Customer Relationship Management, Faculty Student Marketing and Digital Communications teams to ensure that content is relevant and accessible to targeted prospective student audiences worldwide.
The successful applicant will have proven experience of planning and organising events and activities, either virtual or physical. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills are essential to the success of this role. The ability to communicate and influence a variety of stakeholders will be a key requirement.
This appointment is fixed-term until mid-May 2018 in the first instance, with the intention of the role becoming permanent and open-ended.
