Based in the new Planning & Analytics Office, you will be part of the Planning & Insight team driving strategic decisions at all levels of the University through actionable insight driving strategic decisions at all levels of the University through actionable insight.

You will engage senior stakeholders across the University – within the University Executive Group and across Faculties and Professional Services – in order to identify strategic priorities and challenges. You will analyse and interpret multiple data sources to generate insight into the University's applicants, students, and market position, based on an in-depth understanding of the higher education sector. You will work closely with stakeholders to embed insight into strategy development, planning and implementation.

As the ideal applicant, you will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have significant experience working in an analyst, market research or insight role. Experience of working in a higher education environment will be advantageous but not essential.

You will have the ability to effectively convey complicated information in a variety of clear, concise and meaningful formats and you will also be able to demonstrate how your work has been effective in informing and influencing strategic planning and decision-making in your previous roles.

You will demonstrate significant experience in a variety of research techniques – both qualitative and quantitative – and you will also have thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and professional standards.

These are full-time posts working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
