My client, a Local Authority in the South East of England, is looking for a Social Worker who can join them on a locum basis. They have significantly improved their Ofsted report recently for their children and young people services. The child protection inquiries are of a good quality and reviewed closely by the managers. This means you will be joining a team that is constantly improving, meaning that you will get the chance to make a difference.

This role is part of the Child Protection Team. The team is fully staffed, they are only looking for one locum Social Worker, meaning that you will be part of a stable team. In this team, you will not be doing any court work - they only cover the care proceedings, then if needed, the case gets passed over to the Court Team. This means you will be less stressed at work and have a better work - like balance.

Please apply if you are a Qualified Social Worker, HCPC registered, with experience in care proceedings, Family Support and Protection Team or Child Protection Teams. You must also hold a driving license.
