Work Flexibly and Work from Home as a Connected Persons Social Worker
A Local Authority based in London is currently expanding their Children's services as a part of the Executive Directors plan to raise the profile of Safeguarding children. As a part of this expansion the Local Authority are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join a new team which aims to promote excellent outcomes for Looked After Children who may be placed with Connected Persons, whether that be short term or long term.
The Local Authority understand that its staff are the key to driving the positive change and ensuring the Executive Directors vision is realised and as such they have completely reviewed the benefits package being offered to Social Workers throughout Children's service. As a member of the team you will be guaranteed the opportunity to develop your skill and will have a clear career framework to access which will clearly define what you need to do in order to take the next step, furthermore the LA will fund additional courses that maybe required for you to reach your career objective. To make the on-boarding process much easier staff will be given a 2 week protected induction programme and will also be given the equipment to work remotely and from home.
As well as development you will have the full support of your team. The LA ensure that you will have access to the leadership team should you have any concerns or recommendations. You will also have a manageable caseload which is one of the lowest in the Greater London region.
To be considered for this post you should ideally have experience of carrying out SGO's or Connected Persons assessments.
