Job Details
The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or related fields. He/she should have work experience in data analysis, mainly using science data, supervised and non-supervised learning (e.g., machine learning, deep learning). He/she should also have experience in architecture and development of solutions based on the use of information to support decision making for organizations. Knowledge and experience in statistics and machine learning are also desirable. Experience in multimedia data analysis is desirable.
The post involves research activities in data analysis, as well as teaching existing undergraduate and graduate courses. The selected candidate should also design new graduate courses. In addition to teaching and research, he/she should establish a new, independent and well financed research program in some of the topics mentioned above. He/she should also actively contribute the department’s development.
The selected candidate should be able to work with other faculty members to apply information analysis techniques to diverse domains.
