Job Details
The School’s research strategy is based on four key disease themes – Metabolic Disorders, Infection and Immunity, Neuroscience & Mental Health, and Dermatology & Skin Biology – with cross-cutting themes in Chromosome & Genome Biology, Developmental Biology& Regenerative Medicine, Vascular Biology and Health Services Outcomes Research, providing potential for synergistic interdisciplinary research with top-class research and healthcare institutes.
The School now invites applicants with an international reputation in both research and education in Pulmonary Science to apply for the position, which will be based full-time in Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of research in an innovative new medical school in a globally vibrant environment.
Reporting to the Vice Dean, Research/ Assistant Dean, Research and Dean, the appointee is expected to undertake high quality research in pulmonary science in line with the research strategy of the School, and obtain research funding and supervise research staff and students. The appointee is also expected to undertake teaching and educational responsibilities in the training of medical students and postgraduate research students. Teaching methods will include extensive use of team-based learning and e-learning.
