REACh Regulatory Specialist - Develop Your Career - UK

I'm currently working with one of Europe's largest CRO's and Consultancy who work closely with clients to assist within Research and Development coupled with Regulatory Affairs. As a result of continued success, hey are now looking for a Regulatory Specialist to join their UK offices on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a first experience dealing with REACh registration issues. This company believes heavily in investing and developing people, even if they are on a temporary contract. The development they offer will not only include expanding your skillset within REACh, but developing in new regulatory areas such a as Plant Protection Products and Biocides. While having the name alone to add to your profile will be impressive to future employers, this is a great training ground for anyone and will really help build your professional profile.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of lead and joint REACh dossiers
  • Chemical Safety Reports using Chesar
  • Dossier administration and submission
  • Regulatory and scientific advice (testing proposals, contracts, etc.)
  • Discussion and negotiation with SIEF members, lead registrants and clients
  • Contribution for post-submission support (dossier updates and financial services - Letter Of Access cost calculations)
  • Data gap analysis support
  • Literature search for data on chemicals, pharmaceuticals, Biocides and Agrochemicals

Key Requirements:

  • A scientific education within Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Toxicology
  • Around 6 months to 1 year working within REACh
  • First experiencer working with IUCLID and ChemBioDraw
  • Use of Chesar for writing Chemical Safety Reports
  • Strong communication skills
  • A professional level of English, another European language would be an advantage
