The University of Bristol offers this exciting opportunity for an individual with training in health economics and who has a particular interest in economic evaluation to develop their career. We wish to appoint a talented Senior Research Associate or Research Fellow (depending on experience) in Health Economic Evaluation. The successful candidate will join the Health Economics at Bristol research group (www.bristol.ac.uk/health-economics) within the Department of Population Health Sciences (www.bristol.ac.uk/population-health-sciences/) at the University of Bristol.   The post holder will work closely with the Research Design Service South West (www.rds-sw.nihr.ac.uk/) and the Bristol Randomised Trials Collaboration (www.bristol.ac.uk/population-health-sciences/centres/brtc/). The post holder will collaborate with clinicians and methodologists from other disciplines to design, conduct and disseminate economic evaluations of health technologies and health services using study designs including randomised trials, cohort studies, evidence synthesis and decision analysis modelling.   There are extensive opportunities for multi-disciplinary collaboration with other research groups including the Centre for Academic Primary Care, the NIHR School for Public Health Research, Bristol Centre for Surgical Research, the Centre for Academic Mental Health, the MRC ConDuCT II hub for trials methodology research and the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre.
