HR Relationship Manager
The HR Relationship Manager is a member of the HR Services Leadership Team, and is primarily responsible for the overall management of HR service delivery, including the quality and effectiveness of services delivered by their Professional Services team.
Reporting to the Deputy Director, Human Resources (Client Services), the HR Relationship Manager partners with clients to build and maintain strong working relationships, in turn developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the current issues, emerging trends, and future client requirements of their Professional Services team. The HR Relationship Manager, as a ‘trusted expert advisor’, uses excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills, to provide leadership and guidance to ensure the alignment of a broad range of HR strategies and best practice that meet current and future needs. There is a particular focus on providing expert policy advice, employee relations, and managing complex people related problems or issues (e.g. case management investigations), in line with client and University policy requirements.
There is also a focus on managing client workforce data and analytics to provide strategic insights and advice to the executive leadership team on people related trends, issues and potential solutions. This forms part of the provision of end-to-end HR solutions and service delivery, including the allocation of projects and operational service delivery resources. The HR Relationship Manager ensures that the emerging and current needs of the Professional Services team, in particular strategic workforce and recruitment plans, are factored into University wide plans.
