The School of Business at the University of Indianapolis seeks applicants for an Instructor of Business for the joint degree program in Ningbo, China at the Ningbo Institute of Technology (NIT). NIT is a Chinese university with an attractive 200 acre campus situated in the Ningbo Higher Education Zone, in close proximity to several other international universities.  Ningbo is a coastal city with excellent transportation, restaurants and shopping and easy access by high speed train to Shanghai and Beijing. Courses taught in China are in English and travel and living expenses with housing are provided along with salary and a full benefits package. This position gives you the perfect opportunity to travel while still providing the benefits associated with maintaining a full-time job.

The Instructor of Business will be responsible for teaching classes in English in various business disciplines, such as accounting, finance, economics, management, marketing and general business. This is a full-time, nine month faculty position with a start date of August 2018. The candidate will teach 27 credit hours per year.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate would have PhD or DBA in a business-related field. Qualified candidates with Master’s degrees will be considered, provided they have significant teaching and/or professional experience. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to teach in China before hire can be finalized.
