Concise synthesis of 3D scaffolds in reagentless conditions

Context and project

Reagentless conditions such as anionic domino fragmentations give concise access to original molecules hardly reachable by usual methods. The goal of this proposal is to explore new molecular scaffolds produced by such fragmentations in the frame of the INTERREG project “LabFact” (collaboration with the University of Southampton and the University Sussex, UK). This project will take place in the laboratory COBRA (University of Rouen) under the supervision of Dr. Michael De Paolis to whom further inquiries can be directed (Michael.depaolis@univ-rouen.fr)

Desired skills and experience

The applicant has a Master/Engineer degree with a strong formation in organic synthesis. Applications of candidates with a Licence Pro in organic synthesis are welcomed as long as experience in the field of 1-3 years is documented. In any cases, the candidates must be very interested in synthetic methodology.

Please send your application to the contact email including the following documents

  • CV (1 page)
  • At least one contact name, email and phone number for reference
  • Summary of Master/Engineer research work (1 page) if applicable
  • Report of Master/Engineer or Licence Pro examination if available

Starting from: September 2018 (3 years)

Monthly salary: ca. 1500 €/net
