Work alongside the AD to help inform Policy and improve Practice
A London based Local Authority is looking to take on a Strategy and Development Officer to help work alongside the Assistant Director to help develop and implement the relevant strategies and business plans to support the continuous development of Children's services. This is an exciting and unique new opportunity which gives candidates to take on a more strategical role whilst utilising their Social Work experience.
This is a non case holding post which will require you to work closely with the Senior Management from a range of services to provide Project Management support. Effectively your role will be to unsure that the current strategy for practice improvement is practically carried out. Within the role you will also be encouraged to use your experience to help inform future developments for the different service areas.
Due to the unique nature of this post, it is an excellent opportunity for those candidates who are career focused and are looking to get into the realms of senior management in their career. The role will provide you with an excellent platform to take the next step in your career, whilst giving you an excellent insight into the development of a service.
To be considered for this post you should have experience within a Social Work setting and have excellent knowledge of current Practice and Policy.
